I was lucky enough to meet him, his daughter, and son in law a couple of years back. What a genuine guy.....

For those of you who haven't seen it, go rent 'Absence of Malice' tonight. It's a great movie.

Cool Hand Luke, the Color of Money, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, The Life and Times of Judge Roy Bean...so many great movie roles.

It's real folks. Smoking is bad for you.

Married to the same woman for 50 years. Very rare in Hollwood. To you Mr. Newman!

I'll drink to that!

i had just watched 'cool hand luke' last week and in light of this recent news ill honor and remember the man by watching not only one of my favorite movies, but one of his movies that i think where he was at his best: the hustler.

And the world is diminished with his loss. In addition to being a great actor, he also seems to have been a great human being.
