I'm NOT a Pat's fan, and have an intense dislike for Brady, but they came to Buffalo to do one thing...WIN...which they did.

If I were a Buffalo fan, I'd have been disappointed in my team, but I certainly wouldn't be whining about "piling on the points."

Myself, I wondered if the Bills' bus broke down somewhere, and they sent one of the local High School teams to fill in for them.
Imagine the score if the Pats played either the Raiders or Niners? 200 to 3 sounds about right.

Hahah yeah right.

Keep dreaming.

No WAY the 49'ers can muster a field goal.

I can't believe the crap I'm reading here about the Patriots having no class.

Football fans, you are watching the greatest NFL team of all time. Sports fans, this is perhaps the most dominating team in American history. In this league, domination isn't supposed to happen on the scale New England has demonstrated. Every week the analysts whisper that the opposing team has the right tools to take down this bohemouth--and each week Brady throws 5 TDs and the score is 50-7. The score is 50-7 (approximate of course). This level of domination is rare in single games, let alone game-after-game in a 10-0 season. They have not let up once save for the Colts game.

I am not anything near a Pats fan, but goddamnit shut up and enjoy this. Especially if all you have to contribute are cheap shots such as the team having no class, cheating, or deserving an asterisk. This is perfection and give them credit for it.

I agree. It's like watching a game of Madden in real life. Entertaining football.

I can't wait to see how badly they beat my Jets, especially after the whole cheating incident. It will be grand, I'm sure.

haha, nice prediction there, lol...

See? The Pats are so kind to football fans everywhere, they score so many points before the half that more people can go to sleep earlier than usual and be well rested for work and school  :D

I don't care about them running up the score, they are paid millions to try and score as much as possible. Maybe the opposing teams should step up their game, rather than expect the Pats to lower their own.

Greatest NFL team of all time, only if you have been watching football for < 5 years lol. Most dominating team in the history of all sports, please share whatever it is you are smoking.

What the Patriots are showing is that in this salary cap era, where teams should have "competitive equity", many teams *cough*Redskins*cough* have spent money on big names who can't do anything near what they claim. When their overinflated ego's are hurt, they claim it's unprofessional to run up the score. That's a joke - this isn't Yankees-Devil Rays - teams have equal resources, and the only difference is the quality of the GM and coaching, as well as the way the team works together. Face it - Belichick is the greatest sports coach in the modern era. The team will go undefeated. They'll destroy the Steelers who lost to the J E T S (who suck this year in case no one else noticed), and the Colts aren't getting any better, only worse and more injured (and somehow their kicker has stopped making field goals on a regular basis).

This coming from a Cowboys fan. Jimmy Johnson and the crew were great; but Belichick and this crew are probably the greatest of all time.

I'm also tired of hearing about the Pats being classless, cheaters, running up scores..bla bla. If you don't want them to run up the score on ya, then do something about it on defense. If you can't, then you deserve to get run up on. Don't cry about it. This is pro sports that grown ups play.

Also, where in the rule book does it state that teams can't run up the score??? If the NFL doesn't like what the Pats are doing, they should implement some sort of fairplay policy. Which would make pro football lame of course.

I remember playing in a Madden PC league a few years back. The league had all kinds of rules to ensure that the online league would be similar to "Real NFL". The Pats are making the "Real NFL" look like a Madden league in which the Pats are controlled by an adult and the rest of the league are 8 yrs. old and under.

It's simply amazing to watch.

(Oh and I don't think I even asked what you guys thought the rest of the league was thinking-- in fact I don't think I even mentioned it)
Oh seriously just shut the fuck up about 'class'. The term 'running up the score' was created by pussy athletes and coaches who just can't stand the fact that their team is absolutely no match for the squad they are playing. I never hear a damn thing about college teams 'running up the score', and that's 'amateur' sports where sportsmanship and class are supposed to supercede the game. The league is pro, the members are there to get paid and win, so let them win however they want. If it's a 100-3 blow-out then all the power to the winning team. I'm so fucking sick of hearing bitching about the pats running up the score and not having class. If anything the pats have had enough class to not destroy teams like they are now for the past 5 years. Just stfu already.

This is coming from a die hard Bills fan who lives near the stadium and holds season tickets. I left during half time because the stadium stops serving booze after halftime, my friends wanted to get a few drinks somewhere else, I wanted to avoid traffic and I wanted to check my fantasy league. So as 'running up the score' goes this is the most the pats put up so far this season and they deserved every point they earned. So they went for it on 4th down, good for them, they scored on that. They went for it because they knew they could score and if not they had the bills in horrible field position. So the best football strategy in that position is to do what they did and not even bother with this notion of 'class' so many people want to field as a valid point.

Sure the Bills are playing with an insane amount of effort this year. The Bills lost just about every good starter they have and still are .500 on the year. Given the condition of the Bills did anyone expect anything less than 35 points from the patriots? Hell I'm glad they got a touchdown from JP, that lazy bum of a QB.

On a side note I've never seen paulNEpats gloat so much about the pats. He was eerily silent when they lost last year to the colts. :D

Two things will happen:
1. Karma will come back on the pats
2. They win the super bowl and people like me give up on pro sports and just watch college.

Like someone posted above, I wouldn't be surprised if someone(or more than one) took cheap shots.

You don't kick a man when he's down. And if you do, expect to be kicked when you are down--EVERY TIME. I predict that for the next 10 years anyone that has a chance to pile it on the pats will and every other team in the league will cheer for it.

The simple fact it is some ESPN analysts, and former football players, called it low class and that the pats piled it on. If half of the ultra competitive pro players call it a low blow, anyone else with a soul knows its low.

Are you kidding me?

Once the cheating thing blew out of proportion, people were calling into question this team's ability to win games. Hell, when they were SB champs people called them into question. This franchise has rarely received the respect it deserves for winning 3 SB championships and I think that they are sick and tired of all the disrespect. If nobody is going to show them any respect for the SB championships maybe they will once the league realizes thy are far and away the best team in football right now.

Every week the Pats are going out there and sending a message. It's pretty fucking clear: "We're better than you." They don't overly-celebrate, they just go out and systematically dismantle teams. 7 TD-scoring drives to open a game? Ridiculous.

As for your comment about analysts saying it's "low", what writers do you read? Nearly everyone I've been hearing from is saying the complete opposite. Did you hear Madden and Michaels last night rip into people who were accusing the Pats of running up the score?

What have the point spreads been on Pats games this year? Anyone willing to bet against the spread has to be making a killing. I can't imagine betting a 3+ touchdown spread, yet they cover it every week!

Double digits against most teams, 4 1/2 in the games against the Cowgirls/Colts.

BB the greatest coach in the modern era of sports, wtf. Are you guys all 25 or less, your lack of perspective is alarming.

From 1991 until 1995, Belichick was the head coach of the Cleveland Browns. During his tenure in Cleveland he compiled a 36-44 record, only one team enjoyed a winning record.
