Different dumb question in regards to the new mechanics. Just so I have this correct, when I "unveil" a new mod, that mod (and it's level) then becomes available on my crafting bench, right?

Only thing I can really say is I'd rather have arc in a 6 link. Lightning spire in a 6L is usually an end game build for Shaper/Uber Elder/Etc since they don't move. Any boss that moves out of the range of the spire makes it useless.

So far Arc has been clearing for me with a 5 link so I've been keeping it as is. Once I get a 6 link armor (Tinkerskin??), I'll 6 link Arc there and move Spire to Trap gloves. 20/20 Vaal Arcs are going for only 2-3 chaos so I bought one.

I've been very lucky with drops so far. Sold that ammy for an exalt and sold a few other good drops for around 60 total chaos so far and I've only just reached maps last night (only did the first Zana map yet actually). Killing Kitava was a breeze, he would pop up, loss his HP and next phase animation would start within 2-3 seconds. I've never killed him this fast. Got a nice little bank to upgrade my gear

Yes. If you unveil it multiple times and/or find the recipe in a zone, it upgrades to the next tier.

Edit: I'm also liking the new crafting system a lot. Haven't used it much yet except to waste a few small currencies on gear but it feels a lot better now.

Yeap> that's what I figured and assumed and thought, but sitting here at work and thinking, I just couldn't convince myself it was true.

I've come to the conclusion too that while my PC was fine when POE first launched, with all the MTX and such now, it's just not cutting it anymore. This is an old (unlocked and OC'ed) Phenom II B55 4 core. It's fine for everything we use it for (which is virtually nothing anymore) except for POE. I forget the GPU in it but it's pretty much the max GPU that makes sense with that CPU. 8GB of RAM. It's ancient, but why spend more when I don't need to. I think I need to now... maybe find a PC that's only 4 years old instead of 8+

Sorry, I thought you were into yellow tier maps for some reason. You'll find the 5L arc questionable once you get a bit further along.

In regards to Tinkerskin, if you plan on MoM then you'll want Tinkerskin. The ES gain from trap triggers lets you use Eldritch Battery. If you don't want MoM then it's a toss up between that and Loreweave. Loreweave is more damage and better EHP while Tinkerskin does have some life gain but it's not as big as it seems.

Was just looking at my currency and checking the market while I'm a work. I have roughly 100C worth of non-C/E currency in my stash. Time to do some currency trade and do a little shopping I guess.

Didn't realize you could get a 5L Tinkerskin for 40-50C either. Guess that's a nice upgrade I should snag.

People usually forget there is a fairly easy to purchase 5L prophecy, the Jeweller's Touch. It usually costs 20-25 and right now runs about 24-25c. It'll go down a little bit into the league. You 5L an item with 1 orb of fusing.

So we can purchase and 5L a rather well rolled Tinkerskin for 29c to 36c. To out right purchase that same Tinkerskin with already 5L would cost about 50-70c.

To 5 socket we need 70 jewellers with recipe. 70 jewellers right now are 8c. So we can 5L any armor or weapon for base price + 32c right now. A fairly good rolled Tinkerskin (80hp+ and 14+ cooldown recovery) is 5c to 12c.

So we can purchase and 5L a rather well rolled Tinkerskin for 37c to 44c. To out right purchase that same Tinkerskin with already 5L would cost about 50-70c.

It's not corrupted so you just use some chrom. Also, Tinkerskin is Dex/Int so you'll get the colors you want very quickly.

Yeah, that's what I'm finding. Problem is most I've seen have like 8% res and high life, or +10 life and high res (in each scenario, one is crafted). I'll find something eventually.

• Substantially increased Sulphite Capacity at all upgrade tiers.
• Adjusted the cost of upgrades for Sulphite Capacity, Darkness Resistance, Light Radius, Flare Radius and Flare Capacity in situations where you are over-levelled relative to the expected Depth of having those upgrades.
• Reduced the per-cell travel cost of Sulphite for early Delving. Delves are now 50% cheaper at Depth 1, tapering to normal cost at Depth 52.

Much needed fixes coming.

had ANOTHER exalt drop this morning (insomnia for the win!)
Also had a pair of unique boots drop (I forget what they were). Thought they were decent so tossed in stash for 2C. Got spammed IMMEDIATELY with offers. Knew something was up so price checked them - 100C-1E?! Quickly adjusted listing to 110C. Some guy just tossed me a 1E to make it easy.

So now I'm sitting on nearly 4E in cash and not sure what to buy

The boots were probably Goldwrym. They were re-tiered to T1 as they were a very popular MF boot. You should buy a 6L Tinkerskin if you have 4ex to spend. Nothing is going to give you a better dps return.

That's what they were. I was searching for something starting with "Gwy" - I was way off
I was digging through POE trade for new boots or a helmet today. You think the 6L Tinkerskin and Lightning Pen is the better option? I already feel like a wrecking ball damage wise and that I could use more life/defense. Though I'm not even in red maps yet. I gotta start buying up my missing yellows and complete them. Hell I think I'm still missing a white.

I'm really only at around 3.5E I guess. I could probably sell some minor currency to get just shy of 4E. So I got a little more ways to go.

If you wanted to spend 1ex to 2ex to get everything setup for that combo that's cool. All of your gear needs a refresh in that the life rolls are too low. You should set a 20-25c budget and replace everything. Just depends on how far you're taking the build and want you want to accomplish.

Actually the FIRST thing I need to replace is my amulet. For whatever reason I haven't even LOOKED at it in forever. It's HORRIBLE.

TIL: Sacrifice Fragments add 5% Quantity for each unique Fragment in the map slots with a map.

I had no idea. And here I am practically giving these away at 1-2Alch each because I thought there was no use for them. Nice, easy way to get 5% quality boost I guess.

that was the game plan. Sadly, I probably sold 25-30 in the past couple days.
At least it kept my Alch stash full!

had another exalt drop last night. This may be the richest league I've played yet. 3E drops and Goldwyrm boots worth 1E. I literally JUST got my 1st red map this morning. I don't recall Es dropping that low before.
