So I'm expecting pretty soon and my boss told me a "whatever you need let me know." How many days is normal/accepted?
a week of paid, non-vacation time leave seems to be the unofficial standard around my office.
8 to 12 weeks seems like a very unusual "norm"Took me two seconds to Google it.

Two weeks is nice, though if you've ever had to deal with one of them just starting to fall asleep while the other emits the cry that wakes the dead, I'm sorry and know how you feel. I got one week paid but my daughter eats breast milk and formula to the tune of three babies worth. 9lb 2oz titty monster! I'm hoping she got my height gene (I'm 6'9") because tall girls are much more picky with their mates so I won't have to deal with as many douchebags in her teenage years. Gonna have to pull something like this.I got 2 weeks paid. But I had 2 babies! Life is so unfair.
paternity.
that sounds like your wife is expecting soon; not you. Are you actually pregnant?
weird.
congrats, by the way.
