Pastrami, that's what's for dinner!

So I was driving by The Hats after doing some shopping for present from me, to me, and thought to myself ".. hmmm, haven't had a pastrami sammich for a while..." and BAM! Pastrami biotches.

Nom nom nom.

I remember when the pastrami dip was less than $5 from The Hat. Now it's like $7+ huh? Haven't been there in a while. I'm sure some guy will chime in and say he remembers when it was 50 cents.

MMMM The Hat. These people don't even know. When I go there I have to get pastrami and chili cheese fries. Damn heart attacks taste so good.

On Modern Marvels last night the topic was cold cuts and how they are made. Pastrami was prominently featured. Showed the famous pastrami sandwich at the Carnegie Deli in NYC where there's one pound of meat on the sandwich. The spokesperson even said "We don't want people to finish it or even be able to get their mouth around it." The thing was beastly huge.

But as the show went on, my wife was less interested to see how cold cuts are made, because it was certainly unappetizing, particularly the head cheese.

That's an incredibly delicious sandwich from a fantastic place to eat. I always recommend Carnegie Deli to those who travel to NYC.

Pastrami rocks
I prefer to just eat the Pastrami cold on it's own. It's so delicious. Even better than a Pastrami sandwich IMO!

The Hat is good, I hate people who bring up some uber expensive deli in NYC that's better, really? lol. The point is The Hat is great tasting and gives you a lot of damn food! Have you ever tried the Chili Cheese Fries with Pastrami on them? Oddly enough I haven't. They charge like $9 for an order, I saw a group of firemen getting them. One order was enough for probably 6 regular people lol.

Hell the Chili Cheese Fries on their own are enough for a small group of people.

I <3 The Hat.

Bastards. Looks like I Know where I'm going to lunch today. Somewhere with a pastrami sandwich. There is a place here in Sacramento called Grand Central Station that does a lot of cheesesteak sandwiches. I'll get cheesesteak, extra cheese, pastrami, onions and garlic. Maybe some hot/sour wings too. Mmmm, but I won't because I'm a girly man. 🙁
