Curious about something. I'm using Partitionmagic 8.
When I setup my partitions in partitionmagic (C:\ = 20gig then a logical partion w/ two 100gig partions) and click apply I get a message saying "there is no active partition - continue anyway?"
Sure enough, after restarting partitionmagic (and not making any changes), none of the partitions are labelled as "active." However, "set active..." is greyed out!
So does this even matter? What I'm afraid of is that after making these changes, it won't know where to boot from.
Note - this is a raid array with one big 240gig partition. I'm just simply trying to create 3 partitions.
