Does anyone know of any issues with PM 7 and Linux ext3? I used pm 7 to create a unpartitioned area on my c drive and then installed RH 7.2. The automatic partitioning function during the install stated recomended that I create a boot disk for RH because the install may not be bootable. I did that and the install went fine. I rebooted and the grub loader came up fine, but only listed RH, and not WinXP. It booted up and ran fine under XP, but didn't ever show a hint of XP.
This morning I poped int the PM 7 boot disk to see how the partitions looked, but before it finished loading, came up with a message saying that there was a partition table error and that it would fix it if I wanted. I did, and it did its thing. I rebooted, and more of the same, only RH listed in Grub.
So, had to get into XP, so I did a fdisk /MBR and rebooted... XP booted like a champ with no trace of RH or Grub. The machine is a Think Pad with 1 HD. It shows the partition size as what I changed it to.
What did I do wrong? Was it something during the install? XP was already loaded, and then RH in it's own separate partition space.
Thanks in advance
Shane
