Parking Ticket at school

how long is your class?

you should pay the ticket because you were over the time but if it was a 3 hour class (or close to that) then you should also campaign for some parking reform, a 3 hour parking limit isn't reasonable if they're going to offer 1 day a week classes. so.. pay the ticket anyway and start some political action.

The class is scheduled for 3.5 hours one day a week. Most of the classes last less than 3 hours. A five minute walk to and from class. Next week is the LAST class for my master's degree so political action would not help.

You could fight it on thoes grounds(maybe) pleade that you were going to pay for 4 hours becuase you knew you would be gone for 3.5 hours but the SYSTEM Would not let you. if the SYSTEM was not at fault you would not have been over your parking time limit.

$15 is not even that harsh of a punishment, its like $45 at my school.
You should pay regardless of the amount, because you violated the policy. If you can't park more than 3 hours, then find another lot that you can park for over 3 hours.

Also don't listen to the people that says they are not real cops, the school can withhold your diploma if you owe them any money. Also, if you don't pay, they will just send it to a collection agency, which will fvck up your credit score.
