Parking enforcement biatch

So today I had to take an F-450 with hydraulic bucket on the bed out for work. Stopped by a McDonald's to grab a quick bite at lunch time.

This McD's parking lot exits onto a very busy 3 lane street in L.A. So I go to leave, and pull my truck all the way to the left of the driveway, so that I can hopefully be able to pull out when only the right lane is open, instead of having to wait for 2-3 lanes to be open if I made the turn from the right of the driveway.

I pull up to the edge of the street and am waiting for my opening for about 30 seconds, when this little prius or similar parking enforcement car coming down the street wants to get into the McD's. Instead of being polite and letting me out of the driveway first, she pulls in on the other side of my truck, and starts yelling and pointing at me across the passenger sides of our vehicles. My window is up. I don't know why the F people think everyone else can read their lips. I'm thinking maybe she's trying to tell me one of my bins is hanging open, or my bucket is loose.

Apparently not. She gets pissed after I shrug my shoulders a couple times and give her a blank look. She pulls around the back of my truck, gets out, and starts writing a ticket.

So I hop out of my truck and walk over to her asking wtf is the problem? This woman is like 60 years old and as big as an NFL linebacker. She starts screaming I'm blocking the handicapped space, that she obviously wanted dibs on. So I say I'm just trying to exit the parking lot, and she just screams back and waves with her hands "WELL THEN GO!!". I just jumped back in my truck and boned out.

Freakin power tripping people. Better not send my company a damn ticket in the mail.

The hell.. Should have just calmly said "are you retarded?"

That is pathetic.. I would not have been happy....

While I understand your plight, the sheer size of the vehicle you were using forced you to have to pull into an area you shouldn't be in, the left part of an area reserved for people pulling into McDonalds. You were in the wrong and could have caused traffic to be held up while you had to wait for the right time to exit the lot.

Its the same with semi drivers who pull into the left turn lane so they can make a wide right turn and not have the rear wheels of their trailer go over the curb. If the roadway isn't made for you to drive normally and make normal turns in your lane, then you shouldn't be there. You speak about being polite in your post, yet you are the one who created the situation and caused the confusion and issue.

QFT, get your breakfast before picking up a vehicle that has no place parking in a normal lot.

fucking retard the OP is I tell ya, fucking retard.

Good grief. Has common sense completely left this forum?

Pretty much. It's filled with liberal cry babies that want to force their beliefs on everyone else. They don't understand that people like the OP who drive big trucks are what make our economy work at all.
They just all have their rainbow panties in a wad because their favorite car, the Prius was made fun of.

Had the gash in the Prius not been a c-hunt the issue would have never happened.

Despite the size of the vehicle, it is still a plain class C noncommercial vehicle, so I have every right to be there. My mistake was allowing room for cars to come in the lot on the other side of me. I should have just pulled into the middle of the entrance and allowed no one else in till I left. Any traffic signs or paint are not CVC restricted, unless marked in a parking lot.

And semis are legally allowed to turn onto the opposite side of the street when completing a right turn. It's called offtracking and is part of your dmv CDL test.

Should have pulled around the corner, then gone back when she was parked and inside the restaurant and called the cops on her parking in the handicap spot.

I don't give a flying fuck if its legal to have an airplane in the parking lot. Your vehicle was too big and with your class C license, you should have realized that it would make it difficult to maneuver yet you still felt the need to inconvenience others and then come here and post about it.

Offtracking is fine, its when they force others who are in their legal lane to have to back up so the idgit trucker can complete his/her turn. Those are the asshats who fuck it up for everyone else.

Bullshit, Bullshit, Bullshit. The work I do and the dollars I make makes our economy work just much as the next guy. Just because the OP is blue collar relatively unskilled labor doesn't make what he does any more important than anyone else in this economy.

Actually, I'm a websphere administrator. Close, but not toilets, but yeah, I've cleaned toilets before and its a job that has to be done.

it's funny the OP has Z28 in his handle. I bet he refers to it as a Camero regularly.

In the end this dude is just trying to flex on all of us and now crying like a child because some metermaid owned him.

OP makes thread on whiny drivers...whiny drivers then come in to finish what the old lady couldn't.

lol.

Internet superheros, AWAY!

i* don't have to be an internet superhero to tell you that the OP drove his 10,000+ pound vehicle in a poor manner. if there was a crash, he would have been 100% at fault, and rightly so. if he worked for me i would have opened fire on him.

lol you guys are hilarious. Just look right past the issue of a person with some authority losing their temper, and using their power to threaten me for a minor inconvenience. Never in my life have I seen an officer react that way over such a small incident. Either something happened to her prior to our meeting, or she should not be working that occupation with such a short fuse.

Her complaint was simply I was blocking the handicapped spot, which any pick-up truck with a full size bed would do the same. Not that I was driving like shit or that my truck was too damn big. Hell I was originally parked next to a FedEx truck twice my size taking up two spaces.

That's fine if she wants to make the determination I'm truly violating a law, but she can go about it in a calm and collected manner.

You're all entitled to your opinions, but why hurl personal insults stereotyped from a couple posts? Real internet tough guys, feel better about yourselves?

OP, you ought to know better than to expect sympathy of any sort on this forum.

Like the Rogue Warrior says, "You want sympathy? You'll find it in the dictionary, between SHIT and SYPHILIS!" :awe:

If I remember right the F450 is basically a big dual axle pickup or chassis cab. It's not like he was trying to drive a semi in there, it was probably the size of your average tow truck. If he was pulled up to the exit to leave and was blocking any spaces that means any long bed pickup trucks and longer vans would be doing the same. That's a problem with the parking lot design more than the way he was driving.

minor inconvenience? You are blocking entry to a parking lot.

Now you are talking about blocking the handicapped spot? I hate to break it to you but not all spaces are meant for all vehicles.

It's not about us being internet tough guys, it's about you being so ignorant the entire forum gets dumbed down.

It's no wonder though that you have Z28 mentioned in your handle.

You sporting a mullet too there, BIG GUY?

Grow up and back up.

So you have never been in a position when coming out of a narrow driveway that didn't allow for other cars to turn in until you left? Sorry, but that's not L.A.

Besides, I didn't even do that, there was still plenty of room for cars to enter the lot. Only offense I committed was blocking a handicapped spot with the rear of my truck for 30 seconds or less, while trying to EXIT a lot. If that warrants an officer losing their temper and intimidating me with a ticket, you're probably guilty of similar and must feel that's acceptable conduct.

Think you've done a fine job of dumbing down this forum on your own with your almost 46k posts. Stop with the LS1 envy rice boy.
