I'd say both the filmER and the filmEE are pathetic.
The filmEE for obvious reasons - I'll stop short of saying she should lose her badge, but I think she should be reprimanded. If the behavior continues, take her badge, but really, this isn't something to toss a career over.
The filmER for being an asswipe. I'm not against what he did, just how he did it. Was confronting the cop in any way necessary? Standing in her way? Talking to her at all? Did all the talk accomplish anything? Just report her and be done with it. The rest was just baiting her, hoping she'd do something even more retarded so he could catch it on camera and increase his youtube views.

I do not understand the whole "not allowed to record audio in public".....to me anything you say out side your home, the confessional, a lawyers office or doctors office is fair game since you have no reasonable expectation of privacy.
People can talk on their cell phones in public as loud as they want about going to the ass doctor but record it or comment on it by telling them to stfu....well thats not fair!

I just find this guy annoying as hell. Someone with so much "ambition" could be doing something good with his energy, yet he chooses to harass metermaids?
He appears to be an attention whore, nothing more. Hardly a vigilante.
Isn't there some sort of physical standard for cops? In my town we don't have fatass cops because they're useless. She wouldn't be effective in chasing down anybody.
A lot of you are referring to the NYC Transit Authority officer as a cop. They are not real police. They don't have the authority to arrest anyone. In fact the real police hate them as much as the public.

Just try it with an elected official or gov't. employee with whom you have a dispute of any kind. You will be prosecuted, guaranteed.
