I am no longer surprised by the bashing of attractive sexually active women that is so popular on this forum but I sure as hell do not understand it.

Because she's a complete do nothing with no purpose in life other than spending money. She's morally bankrupt, apparently not too intelligent, and isn't even that attractive.

I think it has more to do with the fact that she's grown up with a GOLDEN spoon, has no discernable talent, is filthy rich without doing anything, and yet is somehow a celebrity. What has she done to earn anyone's respect? She's no better than some loser that drops out of high school to party for the rest of their life. The only difference is that she has money, so somehow she's "classy." She's a waste of space.

ehh she's not bad (definatly doable). I'm actually suprised she not MORE of a party girl, being the oldst (parents make all of the mistakes with us) and having been born into that much money. I assume it takes motivation even to be famous.

Of course it sucks but I'm not affected. What the hell can I do about it anyway? Why waste the energy thinking about it? Use your energy on a more productive output such as getting good grades, helping the needy or just making your life better. Thinking about what Paris does or how lucky she has it is a waste of time.

It's not specifically her that I think about, but the upper class in general. Situations like this make me rethink the idea of a flat tax and help to reinforce the idea of a capital gains tax. There *are* things that can be done.

I'm doing what I can already in my life, so with my extra time I can think about the lives of others.

You have no real idea of who Ms Hilton is or not,I'd say your biggest liabilty in this life is your attitude.Would I like to wake up blonde,beautiful,young and rich? hell yes! but I'm not going to hate her or other lucky people because I'm none of those things.

I don't dislike her because of what she has in relation to what I have. My problem is the gross misappropriation of resources directed toward someone like her, as opposed to a community of needy people.

The ones that you would like to help (the middle class or the needy) are the ones that are tuning into her show on a weekly basis. The needy and the middle class are the ones that are giving her all this unneeded attention, because it's not the rich elite. They could easily boycott her show and dismiss her for being a rich snot but we don't do it. And you know why.. It's because deep down inside most wish they could be her. She's living a life we could only dream about so that's why most people find her so interesting.

For her fans anyway. I could care less about her and I've never watched one episode of her show.
