I went to a late viewing of Spiderman II (thinking that less kids would be there). Behind me were two parents with two kids aged 3-5 I'm guessing. One parent sat on one side and the other on the other side of the aisle. They let the kids run and play in between them. The theatre was pretty full, so we did not really have a place to move to so that my wife, I and my son (of age to see a movie thank you) could be together.

The kids then started kicking the back of my and my wife's chair. I turned around and asked the parents to quiet their children, to which I got a 'go to hell stare' and no reply. The kids kept running to and fro. A theatre worker came around checking people for cameras and illegal snacks/drinks in the theatre, and I flagged her and complained about the brats behind us and the parents. To which I got a few 'here here's' from people around the situation. The girl said she'd tell the manager.

Later a manager came down, did not say a word to the offending party but told me to leave if I liked and they'd refund my money (all while the kids were running and making noise as he was there).

I'll never go back to a theatre. I'm done. I'm going to save my money and get me a nice big hdtv with surround sound and enjoy my life at home.

if that had happened to me, i would most likely making a huge scene in the theatre so that they will get all sorts of complaints and end up having to comp all the viewers. stupid, dumbass manager.
