Papa John's blames NFL protests for declining pizza sales

Local PJ is having a sale. Large pizza of any kind with up to 5 toppings for $10 (plus sale tax).

And? Pizza Hut has been doing 50% off menu price on pizzas off and on since the start of the year. Can get large loaded with toppings (or specialty) for under $10 including tax. I think it was actually right around $9 with tax. And there's no limitation on that (meaning, you don't get that for just one pizza, nor do you have to order multiple pizzas).

My local employee own grocery store makes better pizzas than PJ.

That wouldn't take much. I think Wal-Mart's deli probably makes better pizza, granted you'll have to take it home to cook it.

A 13% drop in the stock price may have something to with their sphincter puckering up, that apology.

Yeah, its a great apology too. "Sorry that you mistook me citing a divisive topic and criticizing one side as being divisive. But I'm apologizing so get off my back please?"

At least they deserve some credit for taking the extremist view renouncing neo-Nazis.

Two other things to take: sounds like some billionaires found his comment divisive, and sounds like they believe Jerry Jones might've been behind them to begin with, and so I expect the NFL might be looking for another "official pizza", and it might end up being used against Jerry too.

Still not enough to get me to eat their shitty pizza. If they pay me $5, maybe.
