Only way to see if this even has a modicum of truth to it is see if other pizza chains are experiencing the same thing.

This is the same dude that said, something to the effect, that providing insurance to his employees, would cost add around $0.14 a pizza.

I used to like their pizza but Dominoes is way better. Once I discovered this.. I've stuck with Dominoes.

I called Round Table a while back, the last honest pizza, hehe, and they wanted 42 dollars delivered. The only 42 dollar pizza I will eat is going to be wood fired traditional. When I build my farm house in the country or buy it in Wales, it will have one built in, in the kitchen..... Pizza has for me become the smoke of dreams, or a Noah's poppy seed bagel with cream cheese.
 
It could be the culture war that is killing his business because he's been outed as something very evil, either gay or Republican, not sure, but definitely the one that's the worst. That's right, he's a conservative, chump fucker.

I was thinking the same thing since Dominoes is horrible and if its better than Papa John's they deserve to go under. Neither of them have ever been on my pizza radar which gravitates towards Pizza Hut and Godfathers both of which are just down the street from me.

I'm proud I never ordered a pizza from the "new Papa Johns" down the street, I've never ordered anything because of his whaa my pizza is going to cost $0.25 more because of health care, whaa. Opening coupons were great offers, they even had a try out a free pizza night in a neighborhood mailer. Last year the coupon offers started up again, buy one get one, 50% off entire order, 75% off entire order, $5 pizza and drink.
The place closed down a few months ago.

Well the papa john's went out of business here. But my wife suggested Dominoes. Everytime I go there, its jam packed.. sometimes a 45 min delay like I'm at Grimaldi's.

So many people can't be lying.. or I have a really good pizzamaker and you guys have a crappy kid working at the shop. I think mine's a 45 year old guy.

I would think the way to judge the truth of it is to look at pizza sales as the NFL protest has developed. I would also factor in polling trends.

Papa Johns advertises heavily during NFL games. As rating decline fewer people will see the commercials etc.

Dominos is the worst.
Papa J's an equal contender for worst.
Pizza Hut, grease on a bun.
If you have a Caseys General Stores in your area, that is the place to get pizza.
Or...
Try an actual real life Italian restaurant. The place where Pizza wasn't created in some laboratory.
 
Most of America lives in a pizza desert. A pizza isn't a pizza without high heat and open flame. It should cook in a matter of minutes. There are hours of youtube of them being made by Italian masters. I remember one in in particular of hand thrown and about 6 feet wide and another of three hundred made in an hour. Pizza is a religion because pizza, real pizza is God.
 
Papa Johns is not good pizza.


I do like that he blames Goodell and the NFL. It's not their fault, but F them and their brain damaged game.
 
Why does Papa John hate the right of his customers to express their feelings?

And why does he hate their stomaches with his bland pizzas?

Papa should go down because of the healthcare thing and now this, but he won't; his product has too much fat and salt that the masses love.
