Panda Express seriously needs to start weighing out their portions

Fast food at Olive Garden prices.

This was our experience for PF Changs. We had 19 people and went to Cheesecake Factory. Packed house and a 2 hour wait. We walked literally next door to PF Changs and asked if they could accommodate us. Instant table. Tells you something about their food. And it really was nothing special. $9 minimum for a $3.99 dish served by non-chinese people.

I went to the local Panda Express recently because I had an urge for some sweet and sour pork. They had no pork dishes, only chicken and beef. WTF? No pork?
A chinese(?) restaurant with no pork, extreme failure. I will never return.

Because it's an American 'chinese' place.

Just like PF Changs is called 'Asian fusion'. It's designed for the American palate.

Most american's wouldn't care for many traditional chinese meals.

Panda Express tastes like factory food.

Before (~ 3 years ago), it use to taste like local Chinese food, but, more gooder. Now, it's plastic flavored ass.

The Panda Express guy is trying to save your life. Their Orange Chicken is sky high in calories, fat, sugar, sodium, etc.

Just got this from a hole in the wall up the street, pretty good. Their Teriyaki Chicken is better than PE imho, the Orange Chicken doesn't measure up. But I'd say it's 90% as good. It's not too sweet and has a nice crunch to it. Price wise it's about $2 cheaper than PE for a 2 item combo, and portion wise well...

They just put out a new batch so it was fresh from the kitchen. It's insane you can get that much food for under $6. PE I can almost always count how many individual pieces of Orange Chicken I get just by looking. Here that's not a possibility.
