I couldn't wait any longer and called to see what has happened after seeing the "Product Shipped" status for longest time now.

Just like SAS26, they put me on hold and came back after 2 mins to tell me that this was in fact a price error and the order has been cancelled. He even went on to tell me NONE OF THE ORDER has been shipped out at that price. That's when I gave caricell's order number and he was shocked! So yes, caricell did in fact get one!

If you're status is product shipped, I would wait till you get your credit statement and file a complaint with your credit card. Maybe your credit card company would take it to them and you'll get your order!

Oh and other thing I noticed was that I, too, had used Amex to make this purchase. Maybe all the Amex orders got "Product Shipped" notice...

Oh and I got $20 off $20 coupon from them.

No one I know personally did.

I've gotten lucky a few times, that's why I posted this,
hoping someone would get lucky and as a thanks for
the deals I have made. The best so far was a WD
100 gig 7200 rpm drive for $120 from BB.

Same here...just called Gateway and the order wasn't shipped and was cancelled. Arggh...but congrats Caricel on getting an awesome deal...

One ordered cancelled the other still has shipment pending for me. Anybody else still have a shipment pending? I know they will not ship it but I am curious to how many still have their orders like this.

Oh congrats to caricell for getting one.

Congrats Caricel. My guess is that when you called and they expedited your order the first time, it made it through before they could stop all orders.

<vent>In the meantime, I sent a somewhat friendly letter to their customer support sincerely telling them that my first exposure to their company was not a good one. I said something along the lines of them never apologizing or expressing any consideration for the "inconvenience caused". They answered back telling me that I need to be understanding of their mistake. They STILL expressed no remorse whatsover, not even the usual sticky prefessional courtesy you get when a company is trying to squeak out of a mistake. Except for price mistakes, I will never do business with NECX in the future. They score low in my book.</vent>

To anyone who's order is still valid,

Do NOT call them!!! As stated before, it seems they cancelled my order MANUALLY after I had called them. Who knows what would happen if you wait... You'll have better chance to sue them as well if they charge your card without shipping out the goods. (Remember Buy.com/Hitachi monitor) Now I regret calling them...
