She still has a lot of support, if she can bring it to one candidate in mass then they would have an impact. Although I doubt it works like that.

Can't agree with you there, at all. President Obama has received more death threats than any President in history. Much as the left grumbled about President Bush, he didn't have a minister leading his congregation in praying for his death, nor did he have a washed-up rock star (Ted Nugent) saying the President should "suck on [his] machine gun." In a Harris poll last year, 67% of Republicans believed the President was a socialist, 57% believed he was a Muslim (and thus a liar about his personal faith), 51% believed he wanted to turn America's sovereignty over to a one-world government, and a quarter believed he might be the anti-Christ. If Republicans are ignorant enough to believe this nonsense, it's not surprising they hate him so much.

Really? I've never been wild about the anger some liberals directed at Bush for the 8 years he was in office. But some conservatives are, at the very least, equaling that stupidity in their anti-Obama rage. I've been posting here for a while, and that's the way it used to be. But pretty much since 2008, I think it's been much more evenly split between right and left. And that goes for both insightful, intelligent posters and foaming at the mouth types.
