Or Mexico....

Please. The gangs might shoot you, but the Federales likely won't.

The East Germans would shoot you going either way, and I think that the Israelis learned a lot from their former oppressors, more than they or their fanbois will ever admit.

The southern border of Mexico is policed with machine guns. Lots of stuff to read about it.

One who asks for his own rights to be respected while
denying the same rights to other , is in fact in desagreement
with his own logic, let alone when discussing with someone
who is more balanced intellectually wise.

So yes, theses kind of people either needs meds to help them
escaping from their mental illness , or are already propaganda meds overdosed to the point that they are unable to catch their own
illogical sentences...

Indeed, this rogue state wanabee has no internationnaly

Sorry I've heard this same wrong song and dance before :) There is no permanent invasion. Might want to check and make sure your tin foil hat still fits snugly.

That was 5 years ago, and the Israelis have been building like crazy...

A more historical perspective-

None of which means a thing to True Believers, apparently...

It's truly time for the civilized world to get together and come up with some sort of final solution to the Palestinian problem.

Uhmmm, you're going to need to provide some polling support for that. And just so you know 'support for Israel' does not equal 'have no problem with Israel running the USA'.

Support for Israel runs at about 60% in America, it's pretty safe to assume that not all of those 60% want Israel running US foreign policy, and it's very safe to assume the 40% or so that don't support it or have no opinion want it running America. So, at a minimum 4 in 10 Americans have a problem with it, not sure if that qualifies as 'very few'.

60% is about right, though support for the Palestinians is about 15% in most polls, so it runs about 4:1 in favor of Israel. The ones who neither approve nor disapprove probably fall into 2 categories: those who do not know enough about the situation and therefore decline to answer, and those who don't a give a shit. So it isn't reallythe 60/40 split you describe. Just giving a more complete picture of what the polling data shows.

No, it's almost definitely the 60/40 split I described if not even more unfavorable to Israel. If you read my post carefully it wasn't about support for Israel vs. support for Palestine, it was about support for Israel to be running US foreign policy in that respect. So like I said, I find it unlikely that even all the people who support Israel support them running our foreign policy, it's a very safe bet that almost all those people who are not supporters of Israel/don't care/whatever would not like them running our foreign policy.

This isn't really an Israel/Palestine thing, this was a 'Nebor saying something insane and unsupportable' thing.

Yes you're technically correct in context. Nebor's statement was an overreach. Actually, the question is never framed that way in a poll, but I'm sure if you ask the question "do you want ______ (fill in the foreign country) running US foreign policy," you'd get a pretty resounding "no." I didn't really take Nebor's statement literally though. I assume he just meant that we strongly favor Israel in the US, which according to the polling would be accurate.
