Paging 1900 XT/X (512) Owners

Well, you did page me.

Did you get your X1900XT yet? Mine came today and I just finished up putting my waterblock on it and installing my other chipset cooler since my nF4 is like an oven and crashes everytime it hits 50C. Not anymore..🙂

I'll be playing with it for about a week or so before I'm comfortable with a stable overclock.

As far as power supplies go, are you creating this thread because you're concerned about yours being able to power the X1900XT?

Mine is due today.

I'm actually using a Seasonic 600 but I'm really not to happy with it.
The 12 volt rail always hovers around the 11.77 range. It is pretty steady but
I realize this is within spec.
I've been wondering how my overclocking would go if I was able to send a solid 12 amps to my system.

I could use another ps anyway for my backup system.

I actually just made a post in the general hardware about power supplies.

I bought it new (I think your talking to me?) from newegg. You can see my voltages here 🙂

Newegg link

Yeah, i was talking to ya, lol.

I have a habit of calling people by there 1st name, lol.

49 amps on the 12 volt rail, thats sweet.

The price doesn't seem to bad either.

Either that or you could take this Antec NeoHE 550W off my hands in my sig 🙂

I keep hearing so many bad things about Antec that I"m cautious about them. thanks for trying to pawn that Antec off on me though

I'll probably go with either another Seasonic or a PCP&P, although i am open to most other options.

my antec smart power 500w hasn't caused many any troubles powering 3200+, 2gb DDR500 ram, and a 7950 gt (also was powereing a 7900gt before the 7950gt

i've had this thing for about 5 months also

Pawn off? hahaha

nahh, hey you needed a PSU and I offered one. But honestly, if you have the money get the PCP&C.

I do appreciate the offer though. 🙂

The just-released Enermax FMA 2 535W (dual 22A +12V rails, dual 6-pin PCI-e, Active PFC, etc).

Though before I was using an Enermax Noisetaker 420W PSU and it worked fine (even with a dual core Opteron @ 2.4).

Btw - I am in no way affiliated with Enermax - I've just had great success with their products.

My buddy uses an OCZ Modstream 520W with his X1900XTX and it works great for him (the OCZ PowerStream 520W is even better).
