I have to say, though, Pad Thai is still a good dish.
Damn, that made me hungry.

I've been experimenting for months trying to find my own personal perfect recipe for pad thai. I've been trying all different amounts of all the ingredients trying to find the perfect balance of flavor. It's a delicate balancing act, blending all of those unique flavors together. 🙂

Dude, what about ramen noodles?

Authentic Japanese Ramen has to be the best. Chinese imitations of Japanese Ramen = THUMBS DOWN!

Pho is more plain than Ramen. Ramen actually takes like half a day to make the soup because if you do it right, it needs all the flavoring. IF you go to places like Pho Hoa they friggn just use half chicken broth ><

Pad Thai is good, but in no way does it match some of those Cantoneese noodles =)

Yea but Pho is cheap food to begin with. You see Ramen houses charging upwards of $10. The place I eat costs $12 for a bowl. It's real stuff though. Very comparable to the stuff I ate in Japan.

Kinda like how good can you make Kung Pao chicken. It's a special Sichuan dish, but it's not like a banquet dish. You just can't make it too expensive despite how good it is... Beijing Duck on the other hand....

Spicey lo mein from this hole in the wall near where i live is the best noodles ever, hands down.

Nothing beats a bowl of pho the next morning after a night of heavy drinking.

Of course when I say morning, that's like 12pm.😀
