I have set up a very simple and secure home net work---just two win XP computers, microsoft internet sharing, and connected by nothing but a cat5e cable. With a software fire wall on each computer---and other security measures it works well.
Being the non host on the lan, I note my connections and downloads from the internet is denominated in packets---while the host computer---as it connects to the internet reports all connections in bytes---something I understand.
How do I covert packets to bytes---or get my conenctions as the non-host computer to be reported in bytes?
