I'd still bet on gorillas. Each weighs nearly twice that of the lion.

Look at the pic again. Look at that disgusting forearm power. And the brute force of the weight would rape the poor lion. Gorillas bite too.

Let's assume everyone is fully determined to fight to the death. Gorillas would pound the lion. Maybe 1 gorilla would die from the lion's powerful claw swipe, but they would also manage to just trample and roflstomp the 300 lb lion. It'll be like a mid-game farm PA getting owned by Axe and Tidehunter.

I think 1v1 would be a more interesting debate.... in my ignorant speculation anyway.

After seeing videos of chimpanzee gangs going on roams patrolling their territory, finding "enemy" chimps, hunting them down and not just killing them but tearing their limbs and balls off, I have no doubt that a gorilla would totally fuck a lion up.
 
I'd take the gorilla if it was 1 on 1. You get a gorilla in rage mode and it's swinging with the force of a sledgehammer it would kill the lion with a punch.

Wikipedia has adult male lions at 330-500 lbs. and adult male gorillas at 300-400 lbs. (And Wikipedia is never wrong.)

So expect the lion to weigh a little more than an individual gorilla. I don't know what would happen in a 2v1 scenario but 10v1 is a joke.
 
I thought gorilla packs only had one male generally? The lion is bad ass of course, I remember watching that video where one killed like 20 hyena's in a row but they were all running away while he ripped them apart from behind. I also saw a video where a pack took down a full grown elephant but they were desperate due to a drought when they did it. And that's to many damn gorillas though, its ridiculous.
 
Silver Prime always bets on lions, right? So the purpose of this thread is to come up with the most ridiculous hypothetical possible stacked against the lion, and see if he would still defend it?
