Okay ... well you still have yet to answer anyone's question where they asked what made you feel as though you were being discriminated against for the sheer fact you are asian.

If you did it as a strategic move, then it was pretty smart. Everyone knows yelling fire will get you more help than, well, "help."
While I hate it when the users here bash someone for "calling the race card" (since I feel it's approrpriate more often than not), I think in this situation, it was very questionable.

Simple - Their melbourne store tries to screw me over and their palm bay store does the right thing. I'd call that discrimination.

If you guys think this is playing the race card, you haven't seen me play the race card. This is pale in comparison to the legal dispute I'm having with my former employer where I'm claiming - and can prove - that white employees recieved greater latitude, greater chances at advancement, and preferential treatment.
If you guys read the thread, you will note that I have stated that I feel I have been discriminated against in that these two jerks tried to scam me and everyone else treated me right.
You know, I've got to ask everyone here something: Has ANYONE here had to butt heads against anyone in their life?
Its a serious question. 9 times out of ten it's: I got a speeding ticket OMG ATOT WHAT SHOULD I DO?
OMFG MY LANDLORD LOCKED MY DOOR AND HE'S VIOLATING MY LEASE HELP ME
THE TITLE TO MY CAR WONT COME IN AND I AM AFRIAD TO CALL THE DMV AND FIX IT
Seriously. It amazes me that how people here can earn college degrees, have girlfriends, and yet to put it mildly FAIL AT LIFE. Three days ago I read a thread from someone who didn't know how to quit their job. (!!!) Now, that was a little surprising to say the leat.

See, this guy knows what's going on.
By way of background, here's the resume.
I fought Rathmann. I won. How did I win? I wrote a clear, concise letter outlining what's going on and I didn't take any BS. Playing a racial discrimination claim is for the most part a strategic move used to seal the deal.
Sometimes you have to light a big enough fire under someone's ass if you want them to move. Always play the offense.
I fought Dell because they screwed up a $1000 credit over FOUR YEARS AGO. How did I win? I told them names, dates, and got in their face. I played offensively and I got my check. This is ONE of probably HALF A DOZEN disputes I've had with Dell on behalf of myself and other members of AT who know what I did for them.
The reason I win is because I KNOW HOW TO PLAY THE GAME. That's how it works in today's society. You have to have thick skin, not be afraid get in their face and use everything that can give you a leg up.
I've got more experience in negotiation and dispute resolution than some of you will ever have. This is why some people will always get their asses run down on the road of life.

I wanted to write to you to inform you about a recent incident when two technicians were fired for trying to take advantage of a customer. If the allegations are true, I think the technicians should be disciplined, but the owner of the car has been bragging online about how he successfully played the race card to get a refund.
If you visit the link below, you can see what he is bragging about. He also shows a picture of a check #703843 with his refund.
I don't agree with how your technicians diagnosed his automobile and I also disapprove of his handling of the situation by admittingly playing the race card. I just want to make your business aware of the entire story.

Oh, and don't bother trying to edit any posts PAB. I already copied and pasted everything into a word document and saved your picture of the check too.

Interesting approach, but don't expect the dealer to reply or open this up again. It would just expose thems to
1. bad publicity about trying to ripoff a customer (which they absolutely did) + allegations of racism (which they probably didn't, but the race card works).
2. wrongful termination lawsuits from the two employees.
3. more hassle then its worth for $500, or whatever the check was for.

Your #1 is kinda funny, since the dealer JUST CALLED ME about this.
One of the guys there recieved this forwarded as an email. He basically asked me if I wrote it and I'm like - Yeah, I did.
He asked me to add, if it hasn't been already that THIS SITUATION HAS BEEN TOTALLY TAKEN CARE OF.
They took care of the monetary situation 100% and threw in some additional freebies to make up for being completely inconvenienced. I really think that the current management is pretty cool since it really takes someone to step up to the plate and said "Hey, we're wrong. Whoops. Lets fix this."
And I stand by my original claim. I can't help but think two guys were out to me for a ride on this, if I didn't think it wasn't worth mentioning - it wouldn't have been brought up.

You're a complete and utter lunatic. In order for society to function, there must be lines, standards of conduct...any mature person knows better than to knock out all the stops in any dispute, because that drags society down as it helps them up. Using "anything" to give you a leg up, no matter how unfounded it may be, is a destructive philosophy that resolves nothing and just increases the hatred and bigotry in the world. If you fight like an animal, PAB, you ARE an animal. Spewing hatred isn't negotiation...it's scorched earth.Originally posted by: PAB
