oh!
well the benchmarks arent much different.
i didnt go the cas222 @2.9v route cause diminishing returns make it not really worth it over 2.5-3-2 @2.6v.
im also running 80agp/40pci so i couldnt really give it an apples vs apples benchmark comparison anyway.
(that means i didnt bother to keep the old results) 😉

as for my "scorecard" ~ i went from 223 stable to what now looks like is going to be 225 stable.

Gotcha...no worries, I was just curious...😛 225fsb, huh? You're killing me Thugsrook, you're friggin killing me...😀

Thugsrook, have you finished stability testing yet? Good at 225fsb?

only test left is DivX encoding.

all testing completed ~~~ again 😉

final scorecard for the new board....

> Benchmarks <
passed upto 2700mhz 225fsb 450ddr

> DivX5 Encoding <
dvd - 3cd divx
passed upto 2700mhz 225fsb 450ddr

> Memtest86 <
all 11 tests, 10 loops
passed upto 2700mhz 225fsb 450ddr

> Prime95 <
5 hour loop
passed upto 2700mhz 225fsb 450ddr

i cant get this board to do anything @ 226fsb 🙁

😀

the panaflo M1A is barely any louder then a L1A.
L1A doesnt quite push enough air for me.

L1A = 24cfm 21db
M1A = 32cfm 28db

the M1A is worth 2*C on my system.

the panaflos are really nice cause there is zero motor noise.
the only noise you hear, is air 🙂

(which of course is only half as annoying as motor noise) 😉

Currently I use a Vantec Stealth. But I want to get more CFM's without the noise, but dont know of any goos alternatives... well maybe if I throw out that western digital drive things may quiet down...

Well just wanted to thouch base, I keep this conversation up it it may be moved to the cases/cooling forums
