Such is the tightly controlled conservative media outlets the nation's Republicans singularly rely on, where they've managed to turn democracy against itself. How ironic it is that in the conservative universe they lie to and disinform their very own members to keep them from straying.

This was pretty clear what was going on in 2015-16 when the GOp just went apeshit trying to bury Trump because he was saying all of their shit out loud, spoiling the plot. They were terrified they would lose the simps that are their base, carefully cultivated for 4 decades at that point. ...but they didn't care. Turns out, the GOP created a base of fucking empty-skulled lunatics that just want to be fucked hard by whatever their curated information masters have already prepared for them. It doesn't really matter what their leaders say now, they just want to swallow it. They only believe that "the others" are evil, so they'll just swallow hard whatever is forced into their throats by their big dad GOP daddies.
So, they just like, fucking embraced Trump. He really unleashed the untapped madness within the abyssal centers of the millions of husks that now make up the GOP base. You can just shove any manner of false spiritual mumbojumbo into their head vessels as long as it's only ever attached to bitterness and hate, with a healthy dose of anti-human achievement, tell them Daddy will fix all of their problems, and they will just fucking eat that down all day long without question.
