He's old enough to easily be her grandfather. It's gross IMHO, and disgust doesn't equate to envy. That being said...she can do what she wants. At that age though, I see young people like that as malleable and vulnerable.

You know it'd never happen if he wasn't who he is/has what he does. And yeah...I'll continue judging him for it. Just like every other old man who is over 3x the age of his GF. I agree with squishy...I think it's predatory.

Just go to Roosevelt Avenue in Queens or East New York in Brooklyn.

Happens a lot closer to home than you think.

As for miss 19 year old.. she's probably the safest she'll ever be.. in full public view with a public figure. She has less than 1% chance of ending up in a dumpster.

As for the others.. well the chances start to increase. But young people have to hustle to feed their drug habit somehow.

BTW I'm honestly surprised you didn't know about this. Didn't you go to college in the City? A lot of the college students are "call girls"..

I'm not saying I won't hook up with women only in their forties because I'm in my late forties. For a long term partner, yes, but of course if some gorgeous 27 year old girl wanted to hook up with me I would. But 19? Come on, I know 18 is a legal barrier but it has to be some number, and let's face it, at 18-19? As Pohemi said, it's using their vulnerability. It's predatory.

But no I don't say it every post. The world has things that happen and some of them are shitty. How does that mean I don't know what's going on? That makes no sense.

I'm not saying the entire older man with money with younger hot wife or what not is all wrong. Just like many things in the world we live in a world of gray, And that is the case with this topic.

70-Year-Old dude having 30-year-old trophy wife, fine. But we are not talking about these things.

We are talking about a 61-year-old man with a 19-year-old girl. That's creepy and disgusting as fuck.

I'm really not sure why it's hard to separate these things but apparently it is.

The problem I have is that I see this as all my fault because I can see little about my life that makes any difference. What is it in human life that creates prey. I see it as emotional need. We were all put down, some of us worse than others. Abused children grow up with little left of real self respect and become victims to the the deprivation of needs. People with little in the way of inner resources, having never had their early dependent emotional needs met, will do anything to survive and are perfect targets for other sick people to fee on. A world full of vacuum cleaners sucks but vacuum cleaners lack the will and the strength to bring change. And you can't convince people they hate themselves because the emotionally damaged can't accept any blame.

That being said, I do not think vulnerable people should be allowed to exercise totally free choice. Society should be built in such a way that help is available. But how to get a vacuum cleaner to offer rather than suck.
