A small suggestion. This is supposed to be a humor thread without comments. One particular poster has seen fit to repeatedly post distinctly unfunny political clichés and rants over and over again. I hate putting users on ignore but I have found putting that user on ignore greatly improved this thread. If you don't want to put that person on ignore then please don't react to his/her/it's crap postings. Don't feed the troll.

I apologize for posting yet another off topic post in this thread but something must be done.

A couple of those I would say it's probably good to avoid, like "rule of thumb" and "go off the reservation..." those are unambiguously linked to domestic violence and suppressing entire cultures. Others are a bit much.

However, the fact that you're posting this speaks volumes about your susceptibility... you're being played like a fiddle by the Republicans. They've got you worked up about CRT myths and language selection while they're busy screwing you over with anti-democratic legislation and overt corruption.
