The answer is "yes." There's no provisions for excluding a former President from protection based on circumstances. The rules were made on the assumption the President wouldn't be a convicted felon, but all the same...

As it stands, I can't imagine him going without protection in prison. He'd be shanked before his first week was over.

I think we should have a national referendum on if we the people should be paying for anything involving the Trump crime family 1 second after Jan 21st, noonish

Ok yeah fuck this year. I’m out.

Man, I can't wait until the more cheerful days, post-pandemic, when life allows us to watch a joyfully stupid Danish flick, called "Zomb-minks," and appreciate it for its camp; rather than let it engender unyielding nightmares upon ourselves about the very real world that is actually, quite seriously real, right now.

Ugh, revenge of the curries. In all seriousness, raising minks to slaughter for coats sounds terrible.

Meat is food, and furs may have been a hot commodity in those cold areas because there wasn't other things, but now it's just a luxury item AFAICT

An animal is dead either way. I don't think they care what you do with their caecasses.

Sure, one is just skinless the other has most of the meat removed. I think there's a difference between killing animals to dress fancy and another to feed people.
