Egads, the sheer delusion in that image is ridiculous. Not that racism in the Democratic party wasn't a problem even into the 1960s, but it conveniently "forgets" that southern Democrats switched to the Republican party and that the Republicans quickly became the broader home of the racism the Democrats cast off.
