I'll just have to assume that there was actual evidence that was enough to rule against the guy and not just her little tantrum. The guy deserved it, but the video makes it look like she ruled that way because he disrespected her. I would say something about having such an emotionally unstable person as a judge, but its for entertainment.

Actually, that's what it was about, his evidence which failed to prove his case. Watch the video again.

She's not even a real judge....

wrong

If she is, or was, she isn't acting as or behavnig like a judge in that clip. I find great ironing in that clip.

Believe me, I've seen worse in court. Judges are only human and sometimes it doesn't take much to flip their lid. Even when I was subpoenaed as a witness to an accident, I got to see a lot of rulings sitting in misdemeanor court, and some judges were anything but diplomatic when the defendant had a witty remark.

I thought Judge Dredd (or maybe it somebody else) wasn't a judge, but his first name was Judge. Something like that?

err, no, the position is called judge. Dredd is his last name.

That's pretty much where you tell her to 'fuck off you wise and beautiful woman' and accept the contempt charge. It would be worth it just to knock her down a little. Judges aren't that special and need to get smacked a bit.

What matters is what's true, not what you wear to work.

You'd make an outstanding lawyer.

No I wouldn't; I believe that justice supersedes law. I also don't respect positions, just the people in them if they're deserving. *shrug* Doesn't bother me a bit since based on my personal ideology I'm a much better person than most lawyers I've met.

Wow....you are in one for one huge rude awakening!

I'm 36 and have yet to see enough evidence to sway my position, despite all that I have done. If you're aware of information I may be lacking I'm happy to hear it however.

He's a dick, but she's a delusional bitch. Any arbitrator (like her) who takes authority over a case like he/she is a judge in an actual court deserves to be sanctioned. I suppose there's a provision in the agreement that lets her run it like a circus, though.
