Yes, your epic thread started back on October 29, 2011 with the title of: "Possibly the most important science breakthrough happened today", which adds so much irony because of the complete lack of any independent verification of Rossi's E-Cat claims over these two years. And I am very disappointed that those home-sized E-Cats have yet to show up at Home Depot as promised. :colbert:

I am sorry if anyone suggested that you weren't sane and/or a nice person. Part of my reason for repeatedly posting in your tread was that I believed you are reasonably sane and might "see the light of day" if I expressed my counterarguments effectively. Maybe I'll find the right words this year? :p

Listen, each story has a conclusion. Once this one plays out and the end result will lead to a fraud, I'll be the FIRST one to apologize and nail myself to a cross. I'll need 12 more months. How about that?

It's almost like it deserves another thread to nominate who was owned most in this thread. And then they'd get owned in that thread and it could go on forever.

This will be the first "Official Ownage of the Year Nomination" thread to be nominated for the prize itself.

Most entertaining nomination thread of all time!

I would like to thank the powers that be for allowing us this one meta-thread annually.

Unless a meta sub-forum is ever created, this is the best we have!

Sure, why not? Truth be told, skeptics like me would really be happy to find that we are the ones who are wrong about Rossi and his E-Cat.

Again, what's really needed is dissemination of enough information on Rossi's LENR process to allow the independent replication of the experimental results showing net energy production. There's not been noticeable progress towards this goal over the past two years, which has me doubting that another year will change anything.

I just hope you haven't invested too much (emotionally or monetarily) in Rossi's LENR dream (or scheme).

Nothing invested except time to followup on the story - so that all of you here don't have to. Again, Ill gladly nominate myself a year from now :D
