what the hell? How does copy and past get screwed up?

http://forums.anandtech.com/showthread.php?t=2202067

adlep's Most Important Science Breakthrough thread.

Challenge accepted. I don't mind winning it this year, except the thread goes back to Oct. 2011. The more people know about Ecat, the better :D
And also, contrary to some opinions around here I am quite sane and nice person. Except that I feel very, very strongly about this.
Please followup the news about this most important invention here: http://www.e-catworld.com/ and http://www.rossilivecat.com/ - make your own conclusions. Do not let anyone tell you what to think and do.

Edit: Alky is actually owning most of the people out here. Some users pick the fights with him on purpose and end up at the bottom. He is very rough at times but fair.

The Landlord guy complaining about his otherwise perfect tenant not professionally cleaning the carpet even though it was not in the lease got a lot of reaction...

Although I think some of it was unfair...the thread definitely did not go as planned.

Seriously? An ambiguous portion of the lease ended up being interpreted in the landlord's favor. Tenant cleaned the carpet and landlord returned the entire security deposit. Thats not ownage of the year when everyone walks away happy. Instead if tenant had left a bedbug infestation as retribution upon vacating or stopped up each toilet with joint compound....that would be ownage. Definition of ownage needs clarification here...

Whoever changed your title is a genius.

lol...poor Mizzou!

He had one go really bad when he was trying to fix his house too. I don't remember the details but it had to do with something about pieces of his house falling off.

yes, that thread COMPLETELY fucking backfired hahah!

I think this was an especially good year for Texashiker.

Now, to peruse the current nominations...

^That is the one!

I would also like to nominate Alkemyst for the lifetime achievement award. You know...the award that perennial contenders are given because everyone knows they deserve one, but nobody can quite put their finger on a specific example.

You might want to put them in the OP Rudeguy so people can quickly see what has been mentioned...just an idea.

Yes, your epic thread started back on October 29, 2011 with the title of: "Possibly the most important science breakthrough happened today", which adds so much irony because of the complete lack of any independent verification of Rossi's E-Cat claims over these two years. And I am very disappointed that those home-sized E-Cats have yet to show up at Home Depot as promised. :colbert:

And also, contrary to some opinions around here I am quite sane and nice person. Except that I feel very, very strongly about this.

I am sorry if anyone suggested that you weren't sane and/or a nice person. Part of my reason for repeatedly posting in your tread was that I believed you are reasonably sane and might "see the light of day" if I expressed my counterarguments effectively. Maybe I'll find the right words this year? :p

Did you forgot about how you were exposed as a liar, posted a lazy and painfully dishonest "rebuttal," and then had the thread closed to avoid further embarrassment? I don't know if that thread was really "ownage of the year" worthy, but it was pretty pathetic.
