Ownage: CNN's Dana Bash worried about Ron Paul winning...

Ehhh. Could go two ways. Could also interpret it as the "like I am" as a follow up to her comment to King about him talking to republicans. Didn't watch anything but the first clip yet. Didn't want to bias my view based on other interpretations.

Edit. Watched the second clip. What a let down. Thought it was going to be an explanation from Bash, not just Paul supporters going at her.

The Ron Paul Super PAC is calling for her resignation. You should too.

Listen to your first clip again. She said many republicans, and her, are worried that if he continues on through the primary, and/or runs as an independent, that he could "hurt" the republican nominee. She then says that no one thinks he will win the nomination. And you describe this as her being worried about "Ron Paul winning?"

And the lady in that second clip, which I just listened to, "you don't speak like that about my president." "How can you respond to the slander that is being made of Dr. Paul." What loons. His following is a cult. Seriously the most creepy political movement in America today, by a long shot.

it is YOU that needs to listen to the clip again. starting at :20. don't be a fool.

It sounded like she misspoke to me, like MomentsofSanity suggested, and she meant to say "like I have" in terms of King talking to Republicans (like she did). And given the run-on sentence there, it's hard to tell exactly what she might mean exactly even if she said "like I am".

And that second video did not do Ron Paul's supporters any favors, to be honest. It's a common complain about Ron Paul supporters that everyone else doesn't take them seriously. And I don't want to be a jackass about this, but if you want to be taken seriously, then act like you're WORTH taking seriously. Ambushing reporters with extreme rhetoric you obviously don't understand is not a good way to accomplish that.

Anyone who values their liberties, freedom, and rights should be against Ron Paul.

Paulbots like the woman in this video are some of the biggest loons there are. No surpass given that Ron Paul is one of the King Loons.

She spoke against a white republican, she will easily get away with it even without a slap on her wrist, many excuses will be made by her and by other on her behalf, media will accept on of them and move on

No more a loon than I consider you guys who wish to continue the status quo. You're all a bunch of fucking loons.

That said, I don't really see the issue at all. She said something she might believe in or she miss chose her words. It's quite common. The second video doesn't really do anything for me to be honest.

I really don't understand the extreme backlash against the "status quo". The last few years have seen some economic problems, but I can't even begin to understand the argument that we need to totally reverse our course of the last several decades. History is full of ups and downs, but overall the trend seems to be moving in a positive direction for almost everyone in our society. I can buy the argument that maybe we can tweak a few things to get us back to a high point quicker. But the idea that the best course forward requires us to throw out the last 100 years of change sounds goofy to me.

When you are in front of a camera enough, where every word is recorded, once in awhile you will slip up. Whether she really feels this way, or simply misspoke is another matter. I also don't get why some people get so worked up when Bush or Obama misspoke on something. When every single word you utter is analyzed... well no one is perfect, especially when it comes to public speaking.

She isn't worried about Ron Paul winning she is only saying that many in the republican party think the longer he stays in the race the more it hurts the nominee. There is nothing in that video that states she is afraid of Ron winning and I watched it three times just to be sure I did't miss anything. IMO there is no reason for this thread.

Because if we repeal the patriot act, state's might legislate their own patriot act AND legislate that we worship wallstreeters as gods!

Paul cannot win because of this.

That's nice, but it's pretty reasonable to want to keep your Bill of Rights protections instead of allowing Ron Paul to throw them all into the trash. It's not looney to be protective of liberties that you currently enjoy. It's more looney to say that states can do almost anything they want at the expense of the people.

And Paul cannot win because most people don't like his views and if people found out about his anti-Constitution views, then he would lose almost all of his existing support except for the hardcore racists.

Interesting that they're going after a CNN reporter. Not that I agree with her comments, but if you want to hear about the horror of possible Ron Paul presidency go to the Fox news. Oh, wait. But even these (supposedly) young Republican kids know not to mess with the Fox... Who knew?

Thank the F-uped right wing controlled US Supreme Court for this continuing circus. Never ending, never ending...
Use to be, these goons getting 8% dropped out. We moved on.
Now, all they need is a super pack to pump in unlimited funding from unknown sources, and they just keep going and going and going despite having been soundly rejected by the people, the voters. Why drop out? Who needs to? Perry should be - GONE! Newt should be - GONE! Huntsman should be - GONE! Santorum should be - GONE! And Paul should be - GONE!
But thanks to Roberts, screw the people. Just let the insanity continue right up to the convention.

I'm trying to understand your argument.. so you're saying that Paul, who if he really disliked the 14th amendment so much would have to spend all four or eight years of a theoretical presidency garnering support of 2/3rds of congress AND 3/4ths of 50 states to repeal the 14th amendment, is more of a danger to our civil liberties than the other options?

Other options meaning our current President and EVERY other candidate who supports the Patriot Act, SOPA, NDAA and the continued fleecing of America by the banksters at the Federal Reserve? You really think comparatively Paul is more of a danger to civil liberties?

Some of yall didn't just take the blue pill, you're ham fisting handfuls of them into your mouth like a meathead with a new bucket of creatine....

You are a child in this world. When the chains are put on your body remember your words of ignorance.

You believe the exact opposite of reality.

Not half as loony as all those Obamabots with their Hope posters last election.
