The first few games I joined, I lost connection about 30 seconds into the match. That happened 3 or 4 times in a row. Then I played probably 10 rounds just fine.

is anyone else frequently losing connection to the servers? Typically about 12 seconds away from a win.

Had that happen a lot the last few days of beta. Usually when I my team was winning against a cheater. Posted my video of it earlier in this thread along with the inability to move properly in a match after reconnecting. Thinking someone was using a force disconnect cheat of some sort. Most of the guys I was grouped with on my team would all get dropped at once but other team would be fine and win out the match. Guess that wasnt fixed for release yet despite my post about it as well as others.

Looked like one of Blizzard's best launches last night?
Seemed servers were down about 20 minutes, then just some disconnect issues the rest of the evening ?

I played around midnight after getting off work for a couple hours, only issue I had was 2am arrived way to quick and had to be up early this morning 🙁.

Had a few disconnects at first but then played for about 2 hours without a problem. Not really sure I like the game though. It's very polished and all, but I wasn't really having much fun.

Only had time for one game last night. Was on defense for payload and managed to stop them at all e checkpoints but then it went intob overtime mode at each one and they made it though then each time.

Want to bet its the in game voip? A lot of games expose your IP when you use voip. Once they have that it wouldn't be super had to fuck with you. I'd disable in game voip if you're running into that often.

pretty sure Blizz doesn't expose your IP though. I remember reading a little article about how the voip in OW is much better done than in most implementations.

I didn't play too much in the beta, only a few rounds a couple months back. Started playing last night and man is this game fun. Haven't had this much fun playing shooters since the days of Day of Defeat and TFC.

I've got the Origins Edition, which I bought instead of the basic one because of the Hearthstone cardback (lol). I'm still low level, only level 5 yet. I'm playing mostly with the Soldier guy, he feels like the Jim Raynor version of Overwatch. I've already got the "play of the game" multiple times thanks to his ulti.

Don't watch to play Support and Tank just yet because the team relies on them more for teamwork and I know I'll fuck it up right now.

Game feels really polished and runs smooth. I tried it on my laptop (W10, i5, dedicated card, ssd, 8GB) as well and it plays great on medium/high settings.

So wait, this game is not out yet on PC? Blizzard shop shows it for pre-order for digital download? I'm confused.

If you have Amazon Prime you get 20% off of the 'Origins' edition, it's a physical copy of the game, but they did ship them out so they would arrive today for people.

If you just order it as a digital purchase, it 'became active' yesterday on the blizzard launcher. I think it was technically launch-able like two days ago, but they unlocked the login servers for connectivity last night.

I have prime but when i went to amazon, it showed as regular price.
nm, i see it shows up lower, it shows the prime price.

So the game is fun? What games does it compare to?

Played OB a bit, got bored. Waiting for release. Got re-excited for it, pre-ordered. Played, already bored again.

Needs more maps, and honestly the biggest problem is there is literaly no sense of community in this. I feel like I'm playing a solo player AI bot game.
