overheard at work today.

so a woman here at work brings in her 7 year old daughter. shes talking to another woman here and tells her that her daughter just ate 7 pancakes, and is still hungry so shes eating some cereal now. but first shes gotta add some sugar to it. does anyone see anything wrong with this? friggin a, whats wrong w/ parents these days.....
 
its easier to cave in and give the kid what she wants rather than be a good parent and teach her kid to eat healthy
 
THat kid must be fat to be able to put down that much food at the age of 7?


I dont think I ever ate that much even when I was growing! 🙂

Friend of mine's 5 year old eats like that. He's a fat little bastard now very poorly fed. His entire diet consists of high glycemic carbs and low quality processed meats.

Unfortunately this is true with more than just eating habits.
 
yeh shes pretty chunky....her mom aint much better either...and her mom was proud of the fact she put down 7 pancakes...thats what disturbs me the most
 
Saw on the news, while at lunch, that a mom waited outside a soon-to-open Krispy Kreme in Lansing, MI for 13 days to make her son happy.

The mom's physical condition? At least 50lbs overweight. The son's physical condition? At least 50lbs. overweight.

man, I wish I could get my 12yo to eat that much... LoL He only likes healthy food in small quantities. He's built like a pencil and won't eat enough to bulk up any. Sigh.

I don't think black people are more prone to be fat just because they're black. There is a white woman in the office right next door who is a good 100-150 pounds over weight. Not to mention 2 more white women upstairs who could lose about 30-50 pounds.

Maybe it's just the black people that you are seeing. Maybe not ALL BLACK PEOPLE. Thats like me saying all white people are lazy bastards who live off of their parents just because I know a few white people like that. Look around, there's more black people than what you see every day.
