By the op's definition of morality then yes it makes you a bad person because you do not contribute to the "overall good" of mankind. This is wrong for the reasons I stated in my previous post.
plus what kind of giving is good?
Anything that promotes the survivability of others. Under this definition, convincing others' of your particular brand of morality promotes your own survivability but not necessarily that of the others', i.e. Christian missionaries in colonial Africa <--this is similar to what the OP is trying to do.
In defense of the OP sometimes promoting morality over and above others' can be beneficial. For example, if it weren't for early Protestants, we would not have Capitalism and possibly, science and technology may not have developed as far as it has today. (I think this is kind of a reaching though)

Shorty I don't care if that was true or not, it was awesome. Like 10 pounds of reality just fell on this fucking thread full of self-promoting garbage.

I work for a living. That is the highest form of "giving" there is. It is the most "worthy" thing anyone can do for society..to give their best effort and be good at what they do. All the other crap you spouted is blind self sacrifice.
Working for a living is the highest form of "giving"? I'm sorry, but you're severely deluded. That's nowhere near "giving", it's pretty self-indulgent if you don't actually do something with the money you earn besides spend it on yourself, for example.

Yeah, I'd much rather read a forum full of you douchebags than the even bigger douchebags that post about how great they are.

Helping others is a survival mechanism (life\death), if humans did not have the natural desire to help others we would have gone extinct a long time ago.
The problem is that the instinct to help others has been displaced by morality and religion i.e. "you should help others because it will make you a good person or you will go to heaven" rather than what it should be: "you help others simply because it's part of your human nature"
The OP is advocating the former.
Well to begin with when was the last time you gave of yourself? Not talking about money here, but giving of "yourself"? Awhile
What do you personally give that benefits anyone besides yourself? Nothing
Do you give blood? Regularly? No
Are you on any sort of donor list, organ after death or otherwise? Organ yeah. If there were others I got asked about when I got my DL I woulda said yeah probably
Do you contribute your time to anything worthy? Not anything that benefits others really
Do you contribute anything at all aside from "working" your job? Nope
?Beware of practising your piety before others in order to be seen by them; for then you have no reward from your Father in heaven.
?So whenever you give alms, do not sound a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, so that they may be praised by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward. But when you give alms, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your alms may be done in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you.
?And whenever you pray, do not be like the hypocrites; for they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and at the street corners, so that they may be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward. But whenever you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you.
?When you are praying, do not heap up empty phrases as the Gentiles do; for they think that they will be heard because of their many words. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.
...
?And whenever you fast, do not look dismal, like the hypocrites, for they disfigure their faces so as to show others that they are fasting. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward. But when you fast, put oil on your head and wash your face, so that your fasting may be seen not by others but by your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you.
