This is some of the best memory available today, and it is cas2 (this is a latency issue). If you don't know what cas2 is, basically it's how the memory addresses things and how fast it does it, the lower the cas number, the better. Memory is generally either cas2 or cas3, so cas2 memory is top of the line. Not to mention, this is PC150 memory, as opposed to PC133. That means this memory can run cas2 at 150mhz fsb guaranteed, which can give you a great performance increase. This memory has been tested against crucial, mushkin, and most of the other high-end memory solutions, and has tested the highest from what I have read on a couple of evaluation websites. This definitely can NOT be compared to any ram for $47 a stick. Compare this to mosel vitelic, crucial, or mushkin memory for an appropriate comparison price and value wise. You can get by buying a cheap cd-rom or a cheap nic, but DON'T make the mistake of buying cheap ram, it could be the major bottleneck in your system.
