In Outlook 2003, IMAP mailboxes are still hit by the 2GB limit. Is there anyway around this??

Clicking on Send/Receive doesn't do it? Do you get an error msg? Could you have a large email on the server that could be causing it to time out?

Nope! tried Send/Receive - no error messages of any kind. No timeout error, and connection to server seems to be ok.

I can see my emails fine thru Outlook Express AND webmail, so it's gotta be an OL2003 thing....... eh?

Will I lose my filter "Rules" if I do that? It'd be a pain to have to go through that..

Is there an option to "redownload message headers"?

I don't think there is one to redownload message headers... because i don't think you can just download the headers in the first place. It downloads the entire email at once.

As for the Rules... you can export it before you recreate the account (but i don't think it does delete it... it doesn't hurt to save them anyways)

OK I discovered the problem... my .pst was at the limit of 2GB.

I thought this didn't affect Outlook 2003 files, but apparently my .pst created with my IMAP account is "Personal Folders File (97-2002)" format and cannot be changed?

Ugh.. can't archive my IMAP folders for some reason?? :(

Screw it, I just removed my account and re-added it like Looney suggested...

Why oh why are IMAP accounts limited to 2GB?
