Not bad! I have had a small interest in this, but I find that wood is damn near expensive to buy as just buying the thing itself in many cases

But why not just use some hardware on the inside to screw the pieces together? Cleaner look than all the little wood caps.

I watch that New Yankee Workshop almost every week, and could in theory build a house full of great stuff, but actually I have no tools, no wood, no time, no talent. I probably couldn't build a stick.

To be honest I have no idea, I used whatever kind of pine they sell at Lowes.
