Ouch - got kicked in the n*ts

Long story short.

Was lying down with the girl, and she rolled over the wrong way, scoring a direct hit on my left friend. It's painful. Looks okay, nothing crazy blue or anything. Has this happened to anyone in the past? Does the pain go away? Is it easy to do damage?

Uh, might want a real doctor if it's still severely painful after an hour. I played soccer for years, got fast balls to the nuts multiple times, pain never lasted more than a minute (other than some residual soreness every once in a while).

My fondest horrible memory is being kicked in the nuts in a sparing match. Going to the hospital a few hours later because they were 4 or 5 times larger than normal.

I get to the ultrasound to check for torsion and there are like 8 people in there. The lady asks if it's ok if these students watch my ultrasound. Knowing my genitals are as big as they will ever be I said "Go for it!"
 
WARNING TO ALL PROSPECTIVE GREAT DANE OWNERS:

The great dane is a tall dog with a long tail. When it gets excited, that tail flips around with reckless abandon. I've been clipped in the nuts at least three times in the last few months, and it hits with the force of a whip. Always find myself lying down on the couch cursing her existence.
 
Damn that chick is fast... though her technique looks like she's throwing haymakers as compared to the other guys seem to not be. In MMA you don't have time to wind up your body!

She'd whoop me though.
