I got it now, my first response was a knee jerk. It makes sense that we took his family's DNA to compare it to. I was just surprised that we had DNA to compare the body to, but facts have swayed me.

Bush told everyone that Bin Laden was not his priority. He pulled otu when they had him. Iraq was his priority before 9-11.

Dead but not forgotten. OBL, and more importantly his movement, has reached mythic Saladan proportions due to evading USSR twice and USA twice who are the largest most powerful military in the world. Not only evading and escaping their grasp for 30 years when they had him cornered (tora bora), he fought along side the martyrs, forsaking vast fortune for God, and is inspirational to those of lessor wealth (just about everyone).
