I don't think you would be singing the same tune if a Repub scored the kill.
It is one thing to act happy that YOUR guy got him.

It is another to insult the other side or pretend that they didn't want Obama dead too.

The first is acceptable, the second is just plain wrong.

Even though GWB said "I don't spend a lot of time thinking about him"? AKA not a priority.

What was he supposed to do? Put everything else on hold while he obsesses about Obama and micromanages the military?

I'm sure Obama didn't either. You give the military their orders and let them do there job.

Would you be singing your tune if it was a Repub president?

Honestly this is great news but some fuckers here are seriously mentally ill and need to get back on their meds.

Oh and from what I've heard shit is on high alert. Military bases around the world, transportation systems across the US are upping their security level because the threats are coming in big time. Some of which are stating a "Nuclear hailstorm" will occur, etc.

10 years too late IMO, better late than never though I suppose. Even so, he is one man, not much will change because of this I don't think.

Credit to the soldiers on the ground though

Wow watching these guys celebrating on the news reminds me of all the pictures of VE day, first time we have really had much of anything to celebrate in the last 10 years of war.

Does this mean we win the war on terror and can bring our troops home?

If not, does this change anything?

I'm just going by your post history. I do agree that this is a win for everyone though.

They need to stop with the V-E or V-J day comparisons. Yes, this is important, but it pales in comparisons to those days.

Google gives me nothing regarding this quote. I sense that the left wing media conspiracy is at it again. :colbert:

LMGTFY

That said, it's not quite that bad in context.

THE PRESIDENT: Well, as I say, we haven't heard much from him. And I wouldn't necessarily say he's at the center of any command structure. And, again, I don't know where he is. I -- I'll repeat what I said. I truly am not that concerned about him. I know he is on the run. I was concerned about him, when he had taken over a country. I was concerned about the fact that he was basically running Afghanistan and calling the shots for the Taliban

I never said that he didn't say that. davmat87 explained why that's a ridiculous criticism of Bush. I'm done with your trolling bullshit in this thread. I'm truly sorry that you can't just enjoy this small victory in our war on terror. We FINALLY got Bin Laden, and you're still obsessing over Bush. :(

Of course.
