You are looking for "G-sync compatible" which are Freesync monitors that pass "Nvidia quality control".

https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/products/g-sync-monitors/specs/
G-Sync compatible is on the bottom.
I'm not trying to necessarily use G-sync or Freesync I was just wondering if I can still get the 240hz without using one or the other. Thank you for this research though!

Sure, you can run it at 240hz but a 1060 isn't going to push high fps on most games even with drastically lowered graphics.
Seems to answer my question, I just play CS:GO and on low settings seems like I am good to go.

Yup, CS:GO will run great on that!
