Question Ordered a 240 hz Acer Monitor, will I get my 240hz with my 1060?

The FreeSync thing is freaking me out as my card is a 1060 and is "G sync", can I still get 240 hz through a display port with my nvidia 1060 even though this monitor is AMD Freesync?

You are looking for "G-sync compatible" which are Freesync monitors that pass "Nvidia quality control".

Sure, you can run it at 240hz but a 1060 isn't going to push high fps on most games even with drastically lowered graphics.

Seems to answer my question, I just play CS:GO and on low settings seems like I am good to go.
