Reminds me of how Melania's movie has been doing. It's really amazing how the Trump universe eagerly gobbles down all that shit that's backfiring in their faces. This from not having a care in the world about how things appear from the outside looking in. Their deflector shields are having the opposite effect and they seem perfectly fine with that.

The Democrats have completely failed to oppose and counter this messaging because they are inept, incompetent, and cowards. Sure the media landscape is unfair but the Dems have never been brave, firm, plainspeaking, forceful, or really anything that they needed to do to counter the select lies they really needed to focus on, make sure to get coverage, or hold the media accountable, nor use their billionaire donor class influence to do anything besides primarily look out for that donor class. So it will work for Trump enough to get it done, because the opposition is a literal joke.

I did late in 2024 when Bezos pulled the Kamala endorsement from the Post. I did well for a bit but last year I ended up having prime for six of the twelve months. However three were free - one was a promo and the other two months I complained and got refunded. However, I feel bad about that so I'm cancelling Prime as soon as my BIL finishes Fallout season 2, which ends tomorrow. I'll have to get prime after The Boys last season all episodes come out and binge it, so just one month at some point.

I deleted FB & Insta last January. Zero interest in going back to FB. I just signed up for an Insta account two weeks ago because a local bar only had their music lineups on their socials. So I follow some venues, a couple bike groups, and a few close friends, but don't post.

Quit spotify for good also back then and stuck with Tidal. Cancelled the NYT I think early to mid 2024 due to their bullshit biased coverage of the election. Then deleted the Wash Post subscription as well in late 2024. Haven't gone back. Have only occasionally supported the Guardian.

I haven't bought Goya products since early Covid when the CEO fucking glazed on Trump literally in the WH. Haven't set foot in a Target since their DEI thing, not like I go there often, but never since.

THere are multiple MAGA owned local businesses I have avoided for a long time. And we have a good thread going on a local site of any other MAGA businesses people find to boycott.

Fuck all these people lol

Definitely thinking of going this route, the ads added to movies/shows on there are so ridiculously terrible it's really pissing me off. They're randomly inserted at terrible times, we were watching overlord and it went to commercial in the middle of climactic scene, I have a feeling they use AI to decide when to show commercials and it just feels like they're randomly tossed in. I was watching an anime series, which actually has a commercial break in it but they don't choose that to play their commercials they're just haphazardly tossed in.

To top it off I saw some ads for the Melania movie, so completely stupid how they try to make it out to be some groundbreaking movie when it's just trash made to kiss trump's fat ass.
