so back to bit torrent I go

Man I remember the OG Napster. Then I went vanilla, and at some point I used bt for a couple of years and had a Plex server going. Then I just paid and/or shared subscriptions the last six years at lesat.

But, fuck the fascists, they drove me back to it

I feel you, I'd abandoned those ways for a long time myself (and I do still support creators on Patreon and other ways).

I remember those days, first napster then limewire when napster went to shit. I eventually got on MIRC and dled whole lossless albums off the music channels on there. The most annoying thing with "sailing the high seas" now is finding decent sites, not like you can just pop into pirate bay, they all seem to be some russian websites.

If you set up your qBitTorrent right, you can search directly from the client.

Journalists arrested for the crime of... journalism

Journalists Don Lemon and Georgia Fort taken into custody after Minnesota church protest

Lemon has repeatedly said he was present at the demonstration as a journalist, not as an activist. In a video of the episode that he posted to YouTube, Lemon said, “I’m just here photographing, I’m not part of the group… I’m a journalist.”

Fort made the same points in a Facebook Live stream when federal agents arrived at her home early Friday morning.

“This is all stemming from the fact that I filmed a protest as a member of the media,” Fort said before she surrendered to agents...

Exact same crime occurs at a black church. Want to take bets Trump does nothing?

I was bored and going back and forth with MAGAs on a Newsmax YT video about the Melania documentary. Newsmax's headline was bragging about it having the biggest opening week for a documentary ever. I know they lie a lot, and I didn't Google to verify. But it's not exactly like many documentaries come out lol. They also were bragging about it being #3.

It cost $70'ish million according to Google, and made maybe $7-8 it's opening week. As for it being #3, like 5 of the other 7 have been out for at least a month. A few almost 2. #4 was Avatar 3, which came out mid December, and still made within $500k of Melania. I know I have severe TDS, but I'm not seeing what's brag-worthy about this movie.

"What are you talking about? The movie was third in theaters and a top grossing documentary." was the last reply to me from a MAGA. It was #3 in a week with no bit or important releases. Another MAGA blamed woke people for the low turn out. I can't even remotely understand that logic. And of course they're all discrediting the 6% critic score on RT. "critic scores don't matter, nobody even cares what the critics say" That's very convenient lol

Melania’s Movie Shows Signs of Bulk Buying to Boost Box Office: Guru

Probably in the same manner that the GOP bought up trump juniors "triggered" book.

Just a reminder that intentionally devaluing fiat currency to prop up precious metals and crypto is a long term goal of the mush brained thinkers at ZeroHedge.

This would be good for exports…if it wasn’t for all those retaliatory tariffs. Generally won’t help with inflation and our import-driven economy though.

Your dollar from last year is now worth $0.90. And that's not counting inflation, just the weakening dollar versus other currencies.
