They wouldn't have voted against it because the syphilitic orange menace fired the board and installed his own lackeys and made himself, chairman.

Quote from the NYT..

"Mr. Trump stunned the cultural and political worlds when he made himself chairman of the Kennedy Center and purged its previously bipartisan board of Biden appointees. He ousted the longtime chairman — the financier David M. Rubenstein, who was the center’s largest donor — and stacked the board with his own aides and allies. Deborah F. Rutter, the center’s president for more than a decade, was fired and replaced with a Trump loyalist, Richard Grenell."
So, Chuck Redd expected to perform on Christmas Eve cancelled, due to the Kennedy Center name change. He has performed every year since 2006

Richard Grenell is planning on suing Chuck Redd for a million.

Now the New Years Eve shows are getting cancelled.

I guess the syphilitic orange menace will sue for eleventy billion dollars, because his feeling are hurt.

I'd think the bigger hurdle would be Johnson somehow allowing it to come to the floor again.
Johnson might have a problem with Boebert (R-CO) sponsoring this particular bill and having only a slim majority if he blocks it, but I wouldn't put it past him trying or slow-walking it, being that he's a huge piece of shit.
