Three flights (2 there, direct back) are to visit my daughter at college. The other two are because my wife found $500 tickets to Rome.

With the shutdown going on I’d cancel to save the money but we already paid for 3/4 of the trip and our trip insurance doesn’t cover loss of salary from govt shutdown just loss of job.

It should cover us if our flights get cancelled because of the ATC problems.

Some time ago I saw an interview a right leaning outlet did with a rancher to ask about "issues" with the wind turbines that he'd leased some of his land for. It basically went "I don't give a fuck, the cows don't give a fuck, and the check shows up on time". It was not a lengthy conversation.

friend of mine has 3 on his farm, he bitches constantly about the loss of land and having to work around the access roads, i always forget to ask him about the checks but they must be coming in as he drives a new GMC pickup every year
