You know just getting a casual MRI because everything is absolutely fine. Tip top.

It’s amazing that Trump can reverently refer to the MoCA as a “very hard” IQ test and then brag about the result, and no red flags are raised, given the right’s vitriol for Biden’s cognitive decline while in office. In the same week he’s throwing the word “nuke” around and everyone is just cool with it?!?
I feel like I’m taking crazy pills.

I think the difference is Trump has always been an idiot.... though he is declining which is scary given how low he started.

CNN/SSRS with record high disapproval number.

37/63

woof

Americans are broadly dissatisfied with the state of the country (68% say things are going badly) and the economy (72% say it’s in poor shape, and 47% call the economy and cost of living the top issue facing the US). About 6 in 10 (61%) say Trump’s policies have worsened economic conditions in the US.

More rumblings of the Trump admin wanting to do a Sicario from the famous movie Do Not Do Sicario.

Sheinbaum has managed to fend this off diplomatically so far, she might manage it again. Even Steven Miller basically admits that Mexican cooperation is required for a "secure border" and that if its withdrawn his little Himmler fantasy will require much more work.

Hope this link works, if not, look for Paul Krugman's substack and see his new post, The Big Smirk, Cruelty is the point

Well this month Trump announced on 'Truth' social that he would not pay SNAP until the govt reopen despite the court ruling and his administration stating they would pay 'partial' snap for novemeber. No one in the trump administration seem to know what is going on and how to interpret Trump's comments on Truth social. Our 'brilliant' president in action.

winning over europe

-
Eight envoys, officials and civil society observers from Europe, granted anonymity to describe the fractious closed-door discussions and protect their relationships with those involved, confirmed national delegates had reported they had been threatened with personal consequences if they went against Washington.

“Our negotiators had never seen this before in any international talks,” said one European official, who had spoken to negotiators. “People being summoned to the U.S. Embassy in London — intimidation, threats of cessation of business, threats of family members losing visas.”
