Wasn't Trump going to lower prescription drug prices? I'm pretty sure that's not how you lower prices.

Could some of our MAGA participants explain how this one works?

yeah it's too bad @pcgeek11 and @Greenman voted to have Trump raise their prescription prices, especially as they are getting old in their Dottard age. Trump's about to rape them on drug costs just like he loves to rape young girls. I think pcgeek and Greenman actually like this, though. It explains why they always vote to be raped. Because they know it's coming. It always comes every time they vote for the GOP. and especially Trump.

Robert Reich has been writing some good stuff lately. His latest is “There’s a bigger problem brewing than Trump”, referring to “legal” bribes from oligarchs and corporations that he says have been increasing dramatically over the last 40 years.

I read his previous 2020 book, The System, Who Rigged It, How We Fix It, and I want to read his new one, Coming Up Short. Great pun on both his dimuitiveness and “Growing Up Gotti”. 😀

When the right talks to this bullshit I just whip this out.

That'd be neat if only they weren't immune to facts, CATO is too woke for them these days.

Yeah, that's it, the study. Trump admin tried to quash it but I downloaded it 2 weeks ago. It's 13 pages and I just sent it (PDF) to my printer. Ya know, ~70% of the violent attacks in the USA are perped by right wingers. 4% by left wingers. That from an ADL study.

JD Vance admits groceries and housing are to expensive. Blames Biden... lol!

In other news, JD blamed president Biden for the tariffs that are destroying the economy.🙄

JD Vance: - "He inherited one of the worst inflation crises in American history,” This is, of course, a lie. 2.4% inflation on Jan 20 2025 is not a "crises" you lying sack of shit!

"We are the hottest country anywhere in the world, and there is no other country even close because America is blessed with the strongest economy. Under my leadership grocery prices are down growth is surging. This is indeed the golden age of America” - Donald Trump 9/23/25

"Admits Housing and Groceries Are Too Expensive — Blames Biden" - JD Vance 9/26/25
9 months in and they are still blaming Biden - “It’s all someone else’s fault!” —The party that controls every branch of government!

So last year, American farmers sold $13 billion in soybeans to China. This year it’s zero. Damn you Biden! Tariff money to farmers bailout - I guess socialism is alright as long as Trump and Musk etc are getting the government money.

Thanks for this solid conformation JD ....Trump picked your pocket and fooled all you Maga fools into a vote for the dumbest man to ever hold American political office. Somebody tell Vance Biden hasn’t been president since January. Then ask him about the tariffs and what every economist predicted.

JD, THE CLOWN!

Let us not forget or forgive.
That MAGA stands for breaking America's institutions and harming the American people.
Remember when FEMA rescuers in Texas were forced to wait until a White House cabinet level member could be bothered to authorize rescuers DAYS later.

National Weather Service at ‘breaking point’ as storm approaches
The Trump administration’s cuts to the Weather Service — where nearly 600 workers, or about 1 in every 7, have left through firings, resignations or retirements — are pushing the agency to its limits, according to interviews with current and former staffers.
...
Without this communication, “education is not reaching emergency managers who will need to coordinate with the NWS to, for example, evacuate people,” Sokich said. “That will mean there’s no relationship with them, no coordination. They’ll be running blind during weather events.”

Yeah, voters don't care. That's why the GQP is pissing itself about the Epstein files and taking gerrymandering to new lows in fear of next November.

Trump is the most unpopular 'president' in our history. You don't get to that point by no one caring. It seems lots of people care about Freedom of Speech, and once again the magats backed down. You think Trump always chickens out because people don't remember or care? Strange.

Yep. If voting didn't matter, Republicans wouldn't be doing things to try to change the conversation away from the fact that many of them went to pedo-island, with King Pedo occupying the White House, nor would they be trying to gerrymander to protect their majority.

Magats weren't supposed to care about ICE arresting and deporting people without due process. And how is that working out with almost every R owned hospitality, construction and food production business that needs manual labor?

Hundreds of American farmers are about to go out of business in multiple states, thanks to Trump's tariffs, and now they're watching him about to give a $20billion bailout to Argentina. Haha, ask them if they care.

Allllllllll that

and yet Dems find themselves even less popular and less trusted on the individual issues.

How come?

They love it - hail all knowing Trump !

Objection, assumes facts not in evidence... It's an interesting concept though. We're mad - so let's blame the party not in control of a single branch of government.

How come you are still trying to help mainstream media sell outs to Trump normalize and sanewash his record?

Reminder, it's not your dreaded Dems who are holding up/editing the Epstein files. It's not the Dems who will shut the government down. It's not the Dems sending armed troops into American cities, nor are they trying to bring dangerous infectious diseases back. Dems aren't the ones destroying American farmers while wanting to take $20billion from American taxpayers and hand it to Argentina.

Last I checked people really care about their 401ks, the rule of law, due process, not to mention our systems of education, healthcare and elections being under attack. Having a pedo without a brain for CiC seems a hard thing to pin on the Dems. They offered someone else up for the position after all, someone those popular repugs needed voter suppression, gerrymandering, bribery and 3rd party assistance to beat.

Here is an encouraging article, one of the Cuban diaspora realizing they have been supporting the wrong party.

Sorry if the link is paywalled, but being a free one from Apple News should at least be accessible to iPhone users. I would love to figure out how this works.

I only skimmed the article so I’m sorry if I missed it but I didn’t see any realization that they were supporting the wrong party. Sure they are supporting efforts that counter Trump but that doesn’t mean they realize republicans represent the very thing they fled from or are contrary to what they like about America.

“Never Again”

A growing number of younger voters who previously backed Donald Trump are now voicing regret over their choice, saying his presidency has not lived up to their expectations. Polling suggests this sentiment is spreading. A Pew Research Center survey in August found that while 69 percent of Trump supporters under 35 still back him, that number reflects a sharp 23-point decline compared with the beginning of his second term.

Many explained they had supported him in hopes of economic improvement, but feel that promise hasn’t been delivered. Others said his immigration measures have gone too far, drifting away from what was once pitched as an “America First” vision. Some also criticized his handling of global conflicts, arguing his administration is more concerned with international affairs than addressing pressing challenges inside the United States.

Quinton, a 33-year-old account manager, also from Georgia, said his frustrations center on the economy. “For me, it comes down to taxes and jobs,” he explained. “The job market is just not good at all. I have a lot of friends and family members who are struggling to find work. He made it seem like he was going to look out for the working-class people, and it’s the exact opposite.”

Still cracks me up to see the "he stands up for what he believes" question somehow be taken seriously though. TACO Trump the coward, who always folds and backs down, standing up? Puh leeeease. Have some self respect people, jesus.
