Quinton, a 33-year-old account manager, also from Georgia, said his frustrations center on the economy. “For me, it comes down to taxes and jobs,” he explained. “The job market is just not good at all. I have a lot of friends and family members who are struggling to find work. He made it seem like he was going to look out for the working-class people, and it’s the exact opposite.
Just now learning the ol' classic Republican standard move.
Although some Green people never learn.

Here is an encouraging article, one of the Cuban diaspora realizing they have been supporting the wrong party.

Sorry if the link is paywalled, but being a free one from Apple News should at least be accessible to iPhone users. I would love to figure out how this works.

Those special immigrants can suck on it.

Some background on the data the fascist Heritage Foundation used to make their claims about trans school shooters (relevant, given the Project 2025 goal of the eradication of trans people)
Of course, anyone who isn't already a fascist knows the threat from right-wing extremists is much, much greater (hence this regime retracting the data on the matter)
Essentially they decided "we're going to only consider an extremely specific subset of school shootings to make our point".

Yeah its more of the same while satisfying both Trump's and Netenyahu's desires. Trump wants that Nobel Peace prize badly and Netenyahu gets to keep expanding his settlements as he wishes.

The Gaza peace plan actually sounds... reasonable? No forced relocations either.

It's basically the same as from the beginning. Release ALL the hostages and Israel stops attacking.

Hamas could have done that a year ago and ended things. It's only the hostages that gives Israel cover with their allies to keep pushing.

One theme I am noticing more is that Trump voters in addition to complaining about the economy are also complaining about Trump's increasing foreign interventions (largely driven by his courtiers who all have their own agendas) when he promised that he would focus on domestic affairs. Sorry MAGAs, Don has a jet to collect from the Qataris and beachfront property in Gaza to develop.

Don't let Trump off the hook, by deflecting some of the blame from him to his sycophants.

Trump has grandiose visions of himself as the worlds strong man that can shift regimes in other countries, stop wars by threating one side, etc... Largely he's putting his thumb on the scale for other authoritarians.

Things like your health care, or the price of food, are trivial nonsense compared to propping up another would be dictator.
